Private, peaceful, and perfectly placed

The Den at the Damsons is the first-floor annexe of our home in Blean — completely self-contained, gated, with its own entrance up an exterior staircase. From the top step, you'll catch gorgeous views across open farmland and the edge of the Ancient Forest of Blean, one of Kent's most remarkable landscapes.


It sleeps two guests in comfort. The kitchen is beautifully fitted with navy blue units, a coffee machine, microwave oven, toaster, fridge, and everything you need to make yourself at home. Breakfast in the morning, looking out over open farmland — it's a lovely way to start the day.


The property is gated with CCTV for peace of mind, and there's free off-road parking on site — a genuine rarity in this part of Kent.

We're in Blean, a quiet village on the hillside northwest of Canterbury — just 10 minutes by car from the city centre, Canterbury Cathedral, the University of Kent, and Canterbury Christ Church University. Exact address is shared on booking.
Is it suitable for graduation visits? +
Absolutely — it's one of the most popular reasons people stay with us. We're ideally placed for both the University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church ceremonies. Blean is peaceful and relaxing, so you can celebrate properly without the city-centre noise.
What's included in the stay? +
Free parking, fast WiFi, TV, fridge, microwave, toaster, and tea & coffee. You'll have a private bathroom. We don't have a full cooker on site, but there are great pubs and restaurants in Blean village and Canterbury is only 10 minutes away.

What time is check-in? +
Check-in is from 3pm. We'll agree a check-out time when you book — we're flexible where possible.
